The Parelli Levels Program

Level 1 | Safety & respect on the ground | mental collection

You will learn to read your horse, understand his psychology and develop your skills in using body language to communicate. With the help of Pat Parelli’s 7 Games you will start to analyse and solve problems like fear of plastic, water-crossing or trailerloading and replace them with positive patterns.

Level 2 | Confidence on the ground and in the saddle | emotional collection

Now you are expanding your communication skills on the ground and learn how to be safe while riding. Part of this stage is understanding the importance of pre-ride checks, learning how to mount without stress, lateral flexion, emergency stops, hindquarter control, turns, backing, sideways, basic riding dynamics and patterns.

Level 3 | Skilled on the ground and in the saddle | emotional collection

At this level you progress to where you can play with your horse on longer and longer lines, then: completely at liberty, improve your impulsion (go and stop button), learn concepts for riding more balanced and in harmony and find out how to help your horse in order so he can stay relaxed and willing at all 3 gaits.

Level 4 - Professional on the ground and in the saddle | physical collection

You will learn how to use a double-line correctly, how to prepare horses for driving, riding without saddle and bridle, mastering liberty, riding with contact and precision, how to get your horse to step more under and use his whole body properly, and you will learn the fundamentals of performance for disciplines like dressage, jumping, reining, cutting, driving and eventing.
