Dear Michael,
I just wanted to say 'Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!' for last weekend. I learned so much from you.... Not only about horses, psychology and communication, but even more about life!!! I don't know how to describe it, but you showed me again how beautiful and pure horses are and how lucky I am that I can learn so much for both you and the horses! I was just great to see how patient you were with not only the horses but also the humans.... Even when people still don't get it after you've told them a thousand times, you're still respectful... Michael, I am very impressed by the way you teach!!! I definitely got a lot of respect for you when I watched you this weekend... I know by experience how much you have to stay focussed on everybody and how you have to make sure nobody gets hurt when they are "playing" with their horses... Anyway, I discovered again how much fun and how beautiful horses are and how much they mean to me.... And it really touched me to see how much you really love horses and how "pure and mature" you are with them even though you are still quite young!!!! You are very special!! Michael, I sure hope to see you again in Holland!!! I can't wait to learn more from you!!!!!! Lots of love,
Julia
Hi,
Day 3, not sure what to say now, in the morning I Learned a massive amount about energy, why its important to keep moving on .After lunch i was to recap on yesterday's riding , getting forward
& seek the bit. i couldnt believe i only rode my horse for about 15 mins this afternoon, ! ? What was alll that about? Aftr about 10 mins Michael shouts to me, "That was nice" as we past,
stella reached down for the bit again, "Now get off & put her away ".. My 1st thought was :o WHat ??!!!!!
So I did & left her for about an hour, then rode again, she felt freat! She powered into trot round the arena then I lifted the reins & she reached down for the bit in trot, Guess what
Michael said?:) Yip, that was really nice she's got it in trot now :) Get off & put her away now :))
I get it now !! Short & sweet sessions, then she gives me more !
My learning has been given such a boost, just what I needed .
Big thanks to michael.

Hey -
had a really good day. I tried some of today's learning with Tola this evening (before my brain and body forgot the mirroring I'd been doing through the day) and she was AMAZING. For the first time in a long time I could really feel all the training we're doing with Parelli and our other coaches all coming together and gelling into out own style with very positive results. Haven't stopped smiling yet :)

Hi Michael!
Just a quick note to say a very big thank you for all your help ( and patience!) over the last couple of days. Sooo much to do now, I'll be concentrating on stick to me, pedalling, and finding that elusive feel and Phil's got cavalletti's and round pens to build ;-)
I'll get some dates for next year from the gals and be in touch to arrange the next course...
Hope you had a safe journey home & if you're ever in this neck of the woods don't forget to let us know.
Saaaaaaavy!!!

Hi Michael
This is just to let you know that I really appreciated your input into the course last week and I will treasure the memory of you playing with Maddy and also your version of how to attract horses in the yoyo game. Please give my thanks to Carmen and Rachael.

Brenda
Hi Michael,
My name is catriona and we met in the break between the two
demonstrations and you very kindly let my little boy freddie into the arena to have a 'play'
with unity, your beautiful horse.. Freddie had such a lovely time and has been
talking about it alot!!
He made my day yesterday when he marched into our tackroom, grabbed the
nearest carrot stick and came into the field where I was grooming Kilby and came
quietly up to Kilby with his stick down then lifted it up announcing 'friendly
game' and began rubbing Kilby's shoulder.. It was the first time that he has just done
it without me first asking if he wants to play - it was a beautiful moment - I was
very proud..
I wanted to thank you for your advice regarding my liberty.. You were
so right.. I didn't realise but I we have not been really playing and I have
definitely been thinking I must get this right to pass my level 3 and I wasn't being
consistently subtle with my body language either so I think that was proving
confusing for him too..
So this week I have played with really making sure I am being as subtle
as possible regarding my communication and that has defintely helped him tune into
me more with regards to my life on the ground and when riding.. And last night I filled my roundpen with toys.. And we began to play.. We had an awesome time.. He had a lovely expression on his face and became much more like an extrovert and enthusiastic and had me laughing out loud he was so funny... And for a horse that used to literally leave the arean he was hilarious at doing a lap or two and then zooming back into me.. It was really really lovely... And much as I wanted to keep going and going because it was so much fun, I kept it short... So thank you so much for your advice..
Regards,
Catriona Gleed
