Learn to understand and develop your horse based on his personality

You want to get good with horses? This is the event to go. You'll learn how to solve problems like: loading (trailer, horse-box, lorry), biting, kicking, rearing, bolting, spooky, aggressive, dominant, fear of sprays... Michael will coach you from the first steps on how to "catch", halter and lead your horse all the way to bridleless riding, playing at liberty, long-lining, lateral work and lead changes. After you understand how horses think and you know how to be safe around them on the ground and on their backs - you will learn the philosophy, concepts and skills to get so good with horses that even your horse will think you are brilliant.

Michael offers courses, workshops, seminars and private lessons all over the UK. They are offered at different levels of horseman- ship (Levels 1-4) to group learners of the same level. The Levels Program is built step by step and from the bottom up - that means you start at Level 1 and work your way up. Each Level builds on the one before. For people who want to graduate from horse-lover to horse-man

We promise, if you follow the program you will achieve an outstanding relationship with your horse. Therefore the Parelli program is designed for people who really want to become horsemen. It is for humble and positive realists who want to learn to look at life from a horse's perspective. We won't teach you tricks or quick fixes because they only work short term - we teach you the trade. In order to really get somewhere with horses the Parelli method is holistic and based on the horse's nature (prey animal) therefore we train the human (predator) to become adequate for their horse. You will learn to stay away from predatorial behaviour (gripping, aggression, emotion, autocratic, chauvenistic, direct line thinking) because it scares the horse and we will remind you not to put human thoughts and values onto the horse (constantly feeding him treats, talking to him like to a person) because they take away his dignity and often even offend the horse instead of full-filling his real needs as member of a different species.
